Self-developed EOS Audio Engine
The DMP-A8 utilises the self-developed EOS (Eversolo Original sampling-rate audio engine), supporting output at all audio original sampling rate. In other words, any audio playback can entirely bypass the Android SRC limitation, supporting the Direct audio passthrough of third-party apps (Such as Apple Music hi-res Direct output).

Versatile Master Recording Playback and Decoding
The DMP-A8 supports nearly all ultra-high sampling master recording formats available in the market, including CD-quality formats (FLAC, WAV, APE) and DSD512 (.dsf/.dff/.iso/.dst) stereo and MQA etc.

MQA
DMP-A8 includes MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.

Equipped with a large 6" LCD high-definition touchscreen, the DMP-A8 features a professsionally tailored streamer system, simple but exquisite user interface, as well as on-screen intuitive touch controls for system settings, local music library and third-party apps. Rich Inputs and Outputs
DMP-A8 can be used as a digital turntable to connect with various high-end DAC by HDMI IIS, USB, optical, and coaxial outputs. As a DAC, it supports a wide range of digital inputs: 2 coaxial, 2 optical, USB B input to connect PCs and mobile devices. As a high-performance preamplifier, it supports analogue inputs XLR and RCA. It also supprots APTX HD Bluetooth audio input, making it easy to connect with various digital audio sources. The DMP-A8 can be directly paired with active speakers or power amplifier via analogue preamp outputs RCA and XLR. The Trigger out port can achieve the linkage with power amplifier systems.

Flexible Storage Expansion
An M.2 NVMe SSD slot is built in at the bottom of the DMP-A8, allowing for convenient SSD installation without disassembling the device. The DMP-A8 supports SSD up to 4TB, with faster speed and less noise, providing stable storage for high-quality local music. Additionally, storage devices can be connected externally through the USB OTG port of DMP-A8.

Dual Power Supplies Design
In order to eliminate interference and noise between the system circuit and the audio circuit, and to enahnce sound purity, separate designs are employed for the power supply of the system and the audio circuit. The linear power supply is composed of a multi-winding torodial transformer, specifically designed to match the characteristics of analogue audio circuits. The high-quality swithcing power supply is tailored for the system circuit. It significantly reduces ripple and magnetic leakage interference, providing strong support for high-quality audio processing. Furthermore, it incorporates a patented smart switching technology for the linear power supply voltage input, enabling compatibility with voltages worldwide without flipping switches.

3rd Generation XMOS 316 Audio Interface
With 3rd Generation XMOS 316 audio processor, DMP-A8 has faster speed and higher USB bandwith, ensuring the losssless transmission of high-definition audio data. USB ports supports up to DSD512 Native and PCM768@32bit. The optical and Coaxial ports support DSD64(DoP), PCM192@24bit.

Dual High-precision Clocks
There are 2 ultra-low phase noise femtosecond high-precision clocks for audio decoding circuit (45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz), which correspond to the decoding 44.1KHz 48KHz multiplied sampling rates respectively. Fully Balanced Analogue Preamplifier Circuit
The DMP-A8 is equipped with a high-performance fully balanced preamplifier function, supporting XLR/RCA analogue inputs. It features a +10dB analogue gain and when combined with the R2R analogue volume control network, ensures ultra-low noise and distortion for the output.

R2R Volume Control Circuit
A fully balanced analogue volume adjustment network composed of precision resistors and relays achieves accurate volume control, effectively suppressing distortion and noise in the analogue signal. It also features volume protection, automatically reducing excessive volume to the designated safe level during startup or input interface switching. The incorporation of R2R analogue volume control ensures that the DAC can operate at its optimal state continuously.

HDMI-IIS Output
DMP-A8 outfits IIS output, which can connect to DACs with IIS input. The mute levels of different DACs' IIS signals vary, MUTE PIN can be switched by settings. Supporting PCM 768K DSD512 with the highest sampling rate.

HDMI ARC
The DMP-A8, is equipped with HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) input, can be connected to display devices such as TVs and projectors that have HDMI ARC capability. This allows the separation and transfer of audio signals from the HDMI signal to the DMP-A8, providing the TV with a higher quality sound.

Sound quality of DMP-A8 analogue output is monitor-level. The primary elements of the audio circuit are excellent, including WIMA capacitors from Germany, NICHON dedicated audio capacitors, Murata chip capacitor and Omron relays from Japan, TI Audio Operational Amplifiers from the USA etc. The goal is to provide more authentic and pure sound performance.

Music Library for Local Playback
Eversolo Music Library not only provides excellent locxal music playback performance but also greatly improves user interst in music management. Music files can be added from a local hard drive or network storage and it automatically retrieves music metadata from the cloud to build a custom music library by matching artists, album covers, CUE file and so on (due to the use of a third-party database, a 100% match cannot be guaranteed); songs are displayed in categories based on genres, albums, artists and sample rates; making a list of your favourite songs and searching for them by album, artist, or song initials.

Multiple Network Protocols
DMP-A8 not only has two high-speed USB 3.0 ports, an SSD slot for local storage expansion, but also supports NFS, SMB v1/v2/v3, and UPnP sharing protocols, allowing users to browse and play multimedia content saved on NAS or netowrk drives connected in the same LAN with gigabit network. Even high data rate DSD512 master recordings can be played without stuttering.

Effective Media Management System
DMP-A8 offers a robust media management system that enables copying, pasting, cutting, deleting files from local hard drive and network storage. USB Type-C port can be conmfigured as USB OTG mode, making it easy to connect PC to DMP-A8 via USB cable for local file copying and management. SMB sharing function allows to share files from connected mobile device or interal SSD to other media playback devices, computers or mobile devices in the LAN. So that DMP-A8 can be used as a network storage device to share audio sources at any time.

CD Playback and Ripping
The DMP-A8 allows for CD playback by connecting an external USB optical disc. The CD Rip app adopts data validation mechanism and error correction function to save audio data from CD losslessly. The algorithm intelligently matches CD album and track names (officially released CDs are required), rips tracks and generates album and artist info automatically.

Smart Control App
Android/iPhone/iPad compatible intelligent control apps have been developed for DMP-A8 especially. In addition to basic playback control and local system settings, the app interface can asynchronously view data from the music library, system applications, and menus. It can browse and play built-in streaming services through the control app, making it very convenient for both on-music playback and music data viewing. A remote control with infrared and Bluetooth dual-mode support is also provided. The DMP-A8 also adds a Trigger output, DMP-A8 controls the power-on and standby of the power amplifier, eliminating the need to manually turn on the power supply, enabling multi-device linkage. WOL (Wake on LAN) is also supported to power on and off remotely, it is needed to connect DMP-A8 to wired network.
