How to trade in your device

Please note: Certain exclusions apply and we cannot trade in some items. Please free to make the enquiry and we can advise further. All trade in items must be in full working condition.

Collection, delivery and packaging instructions

I have the Original Box and Packaging

We can offer a DPD Swap It service, collecting your Part Exchange item whilst delivering your new purchase. Please ensure your item is packaged and positioned correctly within the original polystyrene inserts, securing the item and any accessories during transit.

I do not have the Original Box and/or Packaging

You can arrange shipping the item to us at your own expense, taking care of the packaging to avoid damage in transit. We advise insuring your consignment.

We can offer a DPD Swap It service, collecting your Part Exchange item whilst delivering your new purchase; in this case, we ask that you protect your unit with 10cm of thick heavy-duty bubble wrap, then place the item in a sturdy, multiply-cardboard box. If your unit has any front flaps, disc trays or similar, please secure these accordingly. If the item is not adaquately packaged and arrives with damage to the flaps/controls/connections or chassis, this will affect or cancel your Trade-In valuation. Please Note: you are responsible for using suitable packaging to ensure the safe transit of your Part Exchange item.

We can send one of our custom flight cases and then use a courier to collect your Part Exchange. This service would carry a charge of £30.00 and includes all collection and return costs. Please Note: if the flight case is not returned to us, the value of £199.00 will be charged.

All Trade-in quotations offered are at the discretion of our Sales Team. Offering a valuation for your Part Exchange item is not compulsory and certain exclusions may apply. Please feel free to enquire so we can advise further.

• All Part Exchange items must be in complete working condition.

• Part Exchange quotations are valid for 7 days. Any fluctuations in the price of the new item may affect the trade-in value we can offer.

• Your Part Exchange refund may be affected or cancelled if damage in transit occurs due to poor packaging.

• Your Part Exchange refund may be affected or cancelled if the item is contrary to the condition, description, and details of your Part Exchange Form.

• DPD Weekend Swap-It, Pre 12 am and Pre 10 am services can accrue a surcharge.

• Trade-in is offered at the discretion of Peter Tyson and staff members. We kindly ask that the item traded in matches the type of item you are purchasing, for an example – an integrated amplifier for an integrated amplifier.

• We only accept trade-in against brand new items. This excludes Nearly New, Ex Display, Pre-Loved and Manufacturer Refurbished items.

• Where minimum part exchange values are listed, this is the minimum you will be offered in line with the terms given above – the item must be fully working and like for like. Please complete the part exchange form on our website with the appropriate details and a member of the team will come back to you.
