The new Pick its MM EVO
The new Pick its MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2 in all respects. It doesn‘t only complements the lightweight tonearm sound-wise; it also looks stunning on the turntable. Pro-Ject’s phono specialists again teamed up with the cartridge experts at Ortofon from Denmark to work on this new cartridge. The cartridge is made from a unique combination of technologies. One of which is Ortofon‘s well known split pole pins. This enables it to have a flat frequency response, which is comparable to MC cartridges.

Pro-Ject love a clean look, not only on the topside. The new Debut EVO 2 is the first turntable where Pro-Ject included the RCA output box and the power socket into the plinth. The result speaks for itself.
Premium Connection
The gold-plated RCA sockets on the Debut EVO 2 will always provide the best connection. The included high Connect it Phono E RCA uses quality core materials like a copper conductor for a signal transmission without losses. This cable is a semi-symmetrical type, which means that the shielding is only connected on one end. Therefore, the yellow marked side should always be connected to the receiving end.
Due to the RCA output sockets you can always change and upgrade the phono cable. This allows you to upgrade the Debut EVO 2 to Pro-Ject’s True Balanced technology. To use Pro-Ject’s True Balanced Connection, your Debut EVO 2 needs to be equipped with an MC cartridge or Pick it PRO Balanced.
Smooth drive.
Quality Motor | Sophisticated suspension - Pro-Ject’s high quality AC motor is mounted into a porper suspension system which consistently reduces vibrations.
Clean Power | DC/AC power generator - The power generator creates a completely clean new sine wave for the motor. This guarantees very clean power which results in enhanced speed stability.
Belt Drive | Precision belt - The belt decouples the motor from the big sub platter. This prevents motor vibrations to travel to the needle.
33 / 45 RPM | Electronic speed change - The rocker switch on the bottom of the turntable allows you to change speeds with the push of only a single button.
A throne for your records.
The heavy 1,7 kg die-cast aluminium platter gets reworked, and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain a perfect platter. The heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and thus minimize wow and flutter. The Debut EVO 2 platter is anti-magnetic, which allows you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to Pro-Ject’s True Balanced Connection technology. Pro-Ject’s separately available Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability, so it is the perfect add-on for your Debut EVO 2.
The platter features a notch for the record label and together with Pro-Ject’s Record Puck E (available separately) the puck’s weight will press your record tightly against the platter.
Why should you upgrade to True Balanced?
Balanced audio connections are standard among professional musicians, recording studios, and for live concerts. It is essential to have a stable & interference-free connection as these signals, especially microphone signals, will be highly amplified.
Cartridges are balanced signal transducers by nature! Due to the internal wiring of MM cartridges, you'll need to upgrade your turntable with an MC cartridge or Pro-Ject’s special Pick it PRO Balanced to access the entirety of that balanced signal. Together with Pro-Ject’s new True Balanced Connection cables you'll be able to access high-end features that were previously only available on the most expensive of phono stages. And the best of all: any Pro-Ject turntable with RCA, miniXLR or 5P outputs can do it!

Speaker Box 5 S2
The Speaker Box 5 S2 is characterized by its spacious and detailed sound. A 25 mm silk dome tweeter delivers crystal clear highs, the 130 mm fiberglass cone gives full-bodied and lush mids as well as punchy and tight bass.
The noble wooden chassis come in two high quality wooden (walnut and eucalyptus) and six satin painted (black, white, yellow, green, red & blue) finishes. The Speaker Box 5 S2 is manufactured only with the highest quality materials and to 100% in Europe. Only high-quality materials were used when Speaker Box 5 S2 was created. A very special, resistant, and ecofriendly glue has been used to hold the cabinet together and to avoid any leakage.
The recommended amplifier power is rated between 10 – 1150-wattRMS, where it applies as for every speaker: the higher the power of an amplifier the less distortion can be found at lower volumes. Amplifiers with less power are driven to their limits faster at lower volumes, while having more distortion when reaching their peak, this can harm any loudspeaker!
